Economic development

Assisi Charitable Foundation has supported communities by helping to build a roadway into a community that was constantly cut off by flood waters. We supported local women to set up a Tailoring Unit to provide employment and assist the economic development of the local people.

Education supports

Our fundraising efforts were able to support the building of a school in Kari so that local children wouldn’t have to travel long journeys to get to school. We assist poor families with educating their children and help to pay for school supplies and uniforms. We also assist with bursaries for college.

With the help of the Rotary Club of Cochin City and local business connections, we are able to help young people to gain entry into employment and apprenticeships. We also connect nursing graduates with opportunities to work abroad.
